Mount Vernon City Schools Foundation
Mount Vernon City Schools Foundation was organized in 1992 to raise funds that are separate from the District 80 Board of Education budget. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization and money raised by the foundation is used to support programs and projects not funded by tax dollars.

District 80 Scholarship

The Mount Vernon City Schools Foundation will award a “District 80 Scholarship” in the amount of $1500.00 to a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon Township High School. This Scholarship will be presented at the spring Honors Program by the Mount Vernon City Schools Foundation President or designee. The presentation will include a short explanation about the Scholarship criteria and donor.
